Rutten Vibromixer(TM) R1
A shaft connected to the vibrator transmits its force to a perforated mixing plate fixed at a shaft end. As the plate vibrates up and down, liquid jets are formed by the conical holes in the mixing plate. The result is a gentle and effective axial mixing.
The vibrating shaft is perfectly sealed with a simple teflon/silicon membrane. There are no rotating parts or mechanical seals in the system that could generate any particles. As all parts with product contact are directly exposed to the product, the system is easy to clean.
Vibromixers are suitable to be used under pressure or vacuum or atmospheric pressure for mixing of low viscosity fluids, suspensions of solids in liquids, gas-liquid mixing and emulsification of immiscible liquids. An additional application is breaking up crystalline structures and obtain a defined particle size.
